Pete has more than 15 years of experience in Transportation Demand Management (TDM) planning, specializing in plan and project implementation.
Having worked for two Transportation Management Associations (TMAs) in Portland, as well as leading bicycling tours and teaching bicycle safety basics to schools through Safe Routes to School, Pete combines policy experience with practical knowledge.
Currently serving as the Executive Director of the South Waterfront TMA, Pete leads innovative community-based programming that promotes transportation options for residents, employees, and visitors of Oregon's most densely populated development. With a strong grasp of partnerships, financial management, and budgeting, Pete excels at bringing projects to completion. He is a collaborative team player who facilitates stakeholder groups and helps find common ground during challenging project phases.
Since joining RWC in 2010, Pete has effectively combined his knowledge of TDM with the critical understanding of active parking management. As a Senior Associate, he supports all aspects of projects, regardless of their size. Pete is recognized as one of RWC's trusted data collection specialists, understanding the importance of having strong, detailed, and complete datasets. Additionally, he provides research and guidance on both public and private demand analysis to ensure that parking solutions are ‘right-sized’.
